Fun Facts
Steve Veikley holds a BA in Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado at Greeley, and an arranging/composition diploma from Berklee College of Music in Boston. He has been in US Army bands, played trumpet and sang with the “Glenn Miller Orchestra” led by Buddy Morrow, and worked for “Jack Six” in the Claridge Hotel Orchestra in Atlantic City. Steve has taught in several private schools and has formed and led his own groups for many years including Cool Beans, Java Jive Jazz quintet and the Gentle Winds octet, all of Minot.
